Green Earth Schools™ close the divide between what students do in and out of school, the difference a matter of knowledge warehousing in school and their use of dynamic digital technologies outside of school. We believe this difference explains why today’s education neither motivates most students nor meets America’s most pressing challenges: the environment, the economy, and the remaking of America.
Our students leave the classroom to act as social entrepreneurs engaged in solving significant community issues. Our school encourages students to create, test and market their solutions with the support of businesses and community sponsors. Unlike any other school system, we unite their conflicted worlds by translating student learning into the thinking, making and sharing of new knowledge that fosters innovation and invention.
